The project is going extremely well in India. The Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (where co-founder Mike Lipman was trained in bio-sand filters) included the SAPWII workshop in Kolar in their 2006 annual report (www.CAWST.org, page 15). Villages are being adopted. Filter production keeps pace with demand.
